The Syllabus is based on the Religious Education Curriculum Directory and therefore the contents of the Teachers Book, Big Book and Pupil’s work book fulfil the requirements of the Bishops’ Conference for Religious Education in Catholic Schools.
The great strength of this series is its simplicity and clarity. It is attractive, lively and appealing to both teachers and pupils.
The book provides theological notes, stories, a large variety of activities, guidance on assessment and suggestions for questions on the Big Book. There is also included a variety of supporting resources such as websites, videos and songs. The very attractive Pupil’s Work Book should encourage children to take pride in their work and be able to share it with their familes.
Years 3/4 and 5/6 work on a two year cycle programme.

In Year 3, pupils are supported in the preparation to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
