A school where everyone belongs
Children flourish when they feel happy, safe and understood. Our dedicated staff work closely with families to ensure every child receives the encouragement, care and challenge they need.
Known and cared for
We are a nurturing school where strong relationships, personalised support and children’s wellbeing are at the heart of school life.
Inspired to learn
We provide an ambitious and engaging curriculum that develops confident readers, curious learners and children who are proud of their achievements.
Learning through nature and play
Our children benefit from inspiring classrooms, extensive outdoor areas, a large playing field and our wonderful Forest School.
Faith that welcomes
Our Catholic values teach children about love, kindness, forgiveness and service. These values create a community in which families of every faith and none can feel that they belong.
Welcome from our Headteacher
It is a privilege to welcome you to St Werburgh’s and St Columba’s Catholic Primary School.
Our school is a happy and caring community where children are encouraged to be themselves, develop their talents and aim high. We work closely with parents, carers, our parishes and the wider community to give every child the strongest possible start.
We would be delighted to welcome you for a visit so that you can meet our children and staff and experience the warmth of our school for yourself.
