The cost of a school meal for the current school year is £2.30 per day. Meals can be chosen in advance by parents but pupils will also have the option to choose interactively on the day (at registration) if their meal hasn't been pre-ordered via ParentPay. Payment for your child's meals must be made in advance via ParentPay as meals cannot be chosen or issued if there is insufficient money on your account.
Children may have a school meal or bring a packed lunch. We encourage our children to make healthy food choices and ask that packed lunches do not contain sweets or chocolate bars.
Children in Reception and Years 1 and 2 can receive dinners free of charge. If you receive certain benefits, your child/ren may entitled to free school meals regardless of age, and the school can receive additional Pupil Premium funding – see below.
Our menus run over a three-week period. Our catering provider is Edsential. Our school cook, Mr Jones can be contacted via school. All allergens/intolerances as reported to school are fed through to the kitchen. If you require any further information about this, please email us. If your child does have a food allergy you will need to complete a form and submit this to school.
