Class Saints

All classes in our school have a class saint. Our class saints in Year 3/4 are St Jude, St Joesph and St George.

Homework is set on a Friday and is due the following Wednesday. On Friday, your child will be given a little homework letter telling them what the homework is for that week. We use MyMaths, an online programme that you can complete homework on and practise all aspects of maths. Logins for MyMaths have already been given to your child. Please keep this information safe as you will need it throughout the school year. Homework will also be set via the Seesaw portal.

Our PE day is Thursday. For the second half-term, Children should wear their PE kit to school. They should bring spare socks during the colder months.

Sacramental Preparation

This year both Years 3 and 4 will prepare for their First Sacraments due to Covid. Dates for meetings will be sent out to parents.

Monday Afternoon Rotation

All children will be taking part in a Monday afternoon rotation on a half termly basis where they will get the opportunity will all teachers across Key Stage Two. Each teacher will teach a different subject area to help ensure we provide a broad and balanced curriculum. When the children are with either Mr Roberts or Mr Coaker, they will need to be in their PE kit. They will be notified in advance of when this will happen.

Summer Topics

Here you can find what we are covering this term. Our geography topic for this term is Angry Earth: Volcanos, and our science focus is Living Things and Their Habitats and States of Matter. The overview for the whole term for all other subjects can be found here.

Fact Files

We use these fact files in school and will send a copy home to help you and your child understand more about the topics covered during the school year. These contain key dates from the time period studied, vocabulary discovered during learning and some key facts and information about the topic. As well as a History or Geography Fact File we also provide a Science one. Fact files for Spring Term are attached below.
